| His full name is Eulalio Eduardo Palminteri, but he goes by Eddie to keep confused tongues from butchering his name. His Mexican-Sicilian-American family calls him Lalo, adding to the confusion. He's 25 years old and was born on New Year's Day, the latter a circumstance he sort of hates. He was born in a small seaside town in central California and moved to New York City to attend New York University. He is the youngest of four brothers, all of whom contribute to a semi-successful comics anthology series called Eighth Gable. Once self-published, their book is now published quarterly by the graphic novel imprint of a major book publisher. He had a very politically active adolescence, daydreaming of one day becoming a modern day Che Guevara. His politics softened considerably over time, and though he's still quite opinionated he finds political discourse more of a headache than anything else. He's dropped out of NYU twice, a feat he's only marginally proud of. He's supremely unlucky in love, most recently breaking it off with a writing collaborator, a Frenchman whose visa had expired. Aside from his work as a writer and artist, he makes his money working as an assistant manager at Chocolate Bar in the West Village. He currently shares an apartment with his brother Carlos. He's quite health conscious and loves working out, yoga, and playing ultimate frisbee in the park. He enjoys alternative rock music and is a bit of a homebody. |
